故事从东方说起... ...

观夏的DNA，由「东方」与「香气」共同书写，二者缺一不可。创立品牌之初，我们发现桂花、当归、艾草、普洱、陈皮等中国香料没有进入国际香料图谱和主流调香市场。而国际品牌对“东方香”的理解仍聚焦于浓郁非常的龙涎香、麝香等“远东调”香材，中国上千年清幽淡雅的用香文化鲜少得到关注。自此，我们从寻找东方香料成分开始，进行中国香材的种植、采摘、萃取，结合东方的山河湖海、诗书画卷来创香调香。如此五年过去，「昆仑煮雪」、「颐和金桂」、「裸」、「苦尽橙」、「空境研茶」等经典香气纷纷与你见面。品牌的第六年，我们期待着普洱茶的萃取突破，以及推动更多东方香材进入全球香料图谱，重塑世界对东方香的认知。

The essence of Guanxia is defined by "Oriental" and "Fragrance," both crucial to its identity. When starting, the brand noticed the lack of Chinese spices like osmanthus and Pu'er in the global fragrance scene, where "oriental fragrance" often meant materials like ambergris. Aiming to highlight China's rich fragrance culture, Guanxia began by sourcing and extracting these Chinese spices, blending them with elements of oriental nature and art to craft unique scents. Over five years, it introduced distinct fragrances like "Kunlun Boiled Snow" and "Yihe Golden Osmanthus." Now in its sixth year, Guanxia aims for innovations in Pu'er tea extraction and wants to enrich the global fragrance scene with more oriental scents, redefining what "oriental fragrance" means worldwide.

For a long time, I have watched the changes in the city streets and witnessed the migration of residents, but the buildings have always stood here, like old souls guarding the city. This year, Kunlun Courtyard, Nanjing Yunfang, Chengdu Shu Pavilion, Wuxi West Wing and Summer Viewing Bund have opened their curtains to meet you one by one. In these cities, they have left a unique taste of Summer Viewing.

从世外桃源景德镇，再到半城烟火半城仙的泉州，一年的东方工艺探访之旅收获满载。匠人之手蕴含无比自由的生机，和诗意的想象力。对手艺人来说，一生做好一件事已是足够。我们钦佩这种态度，更愿意用年复一年的光阴，把东方器物之美，从濒临失传的技艺里唤醒，让它们成为更多人生活里的长情陪伴之物。

From Jingdezhen, a paradise, to Quanzhou, a city that is half fireworks and half fairyland, this year's journey of exploring oriental crafts has been full of rewards. The hands of the craftsman contain incomparable freedom of vitality and poetic imagination. For an artist, doing one thing well in a lifetime is enough. We admire this attitude and are more willing to spend time year after year to awaken the beauty of oriental utensils from the skills that are on the verge of being lost, so that they can become long-lasting companions in more people's lives.

嗅觉始终是与世界共处的重要媒介，香气，也是诗的一种。它们与诗一样，要求感性的活跃，将生活最重要的事情，比如“忍冬的香气”和“乌儿的宁静”，呈现在你面前。春天，观夏即将翻开“自由与想象”的篇章，发布第一期Nosepaper。在这本刊物中，观夏联合平行诗歌节，邀请了十位女诗人进行全新的创作，同余秀华、巫昂、宇向、余幼幼等诗人、艺术家一起，走入自由想象之门。

Smell is crucial for interacting with the world, and fragrances are like poetry, requiring us to feel deeply and highlighting important aspects of life, such as the scent of honeysuckle or the quiet of an owl. This spring, Guanxia is launching a project themed around "freedom and imagination" with the first edition of Nosepaper. For this, Guanxia collaborates with the Parallel Poetry Festival to invite ten female poets, including well-known names like Yu Xiuhua and Wu Ang, for new works that merge poetry and fragrance, encouraging a journey into imagination.

The name "Guanxia" reflects the idea of peacefully observing summer, a season believed to hold all good things. It suggests a spaciousness for breathing, a light and open beauty like an ink painting, and encompasses the subtle, often overlooked beauty of oriental fragrance and culture. The belief is that true beauty is calm and unobtrusive, capturing hearts gently without overwhelming force. This philosophy of appreciating beauty and truth amidst change inspires Guanxia to explore nature and fragrance, staying true to its roots.

Scent is art, literature, a code of time, and an incredible journey. In the past year, we have used fragrance to explore the East, looking for the stories contained therein - the Golden Age, the Long Summer Solstice, the Golden Autumn Night, and the Wandering Dragon... traveling through one story after another, passing through one season after another, from the past to the present. , from gravel to stars.
